Jurassic Fibre to build full fibre broadband network in Sherborne

Jurassic Fibre has announced that it is extending its cutting-edge broadband network to the town of Sherborne in Dorset.

The first premises in the town are expected to become serviceable by the end of the year with full fibre connectivity of up to 1Gbps for residential users and up to 10Gbps for businesses.

Sherborne will be the first location in Dorset to go live, following two years of close cooperation between Jurassic Fibre and Dorset Council.

Preparations are well underway for the roll-out of the full fibre network through the recently awarded contracts from the Connecting Devon and Somerset (CDS) programme.
