Okehampton-headquartered fuel supplier Moorland Fuels Ltd and its sister company in West Yorkshire, Craggs Energy Ltd, have transferred ownership of the businesses to their 55-strong workforce.

A series of upgrades are being made to the superfast broadband network on Dartmoor and Exmoor.

Internet service provider Airband completed its network in the two National Parks, on behalf of Connecting Devon and Somerset (CDS), over three years ago.

Software development company Rocketmakers have been crowned champions of the South West’s first region-wide corporate esports festival.

The Bath-based firm pipped 15 other organisations from across the South West to the top spot in a Rocket League tournament, with the Exeter Chiefs rugby team and the Met Office among those taking part.

Three events aimed at advising farming families on handing down an agricultural business to the next generation are being planned in the South West.
