Matthew Bird of Devon Renewables Ltd in Exeter has been shortlisted for Best Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Installer (Best HVAC Installer) at the Heating Installer Awards 2026.

East Devon District Council (EDDC) is looking to make a list of potential sites that could be drawn upon to help develop its new local plan - which will help shape what and where developments will go for the next 15 years and more.

More than 500 homes and businesses in Devon and Somerset have benefited from a scheme to improve mobile phone coverage in rural areas .

Connecting Devon and Somerset’s (CDS) Mobile Boost scheme aims to upgrade indoor 4G mobile phone coverage in “not-spot” areas.
