VLC Energy announces new energy storage plants

VLC Energy has announced the development of two of the UK’s largest energy storage plants, to be connected to the electricity network by year end.

The newly created company is a joint venture between Low Carbon, a group company of Exeter-based Oxygen House, and VPI Immingham, owner of one of the largest combined heat and power plants in Europe and part of the Vitol Group.

First ever jobs fair to be held in Beacon Heath

The first ever job fair to be held in Beacon Heath, Exeter, is taking place on Tuesday 14 March.

The Spring Job Fair is being hosted by The Beacon Community Centre from 10am-1pm. JobCentre Plus, in association with Business in the Community, is organising the event.

Devon residents can win a composting bin if they pledge online to recycle their kitchen and garden waste.
