South West headquartered transport business Gregory Distribution Limited (GDL) has opened a Heritage Centre complete with restored trucks used by the business over three generations to celebrate its centenary.

The centre at GDL’s Cullompton depot in Devon was opened this week by 94 year-old Jack Gregory who joined the business in 1947 and ran it until 1985. It has been well reported in the UK that personal loans provider Wonga faced serious trouble and has collapsed into administration, but details of how the company has fared in other countries has not been as well documented.
