The Devon-wide health and wellbeing charity, Westbank Community Health and Care, is delighted to welcome lawyer Henry Cross as its newest Trustee. Henry is a Senior Associate at Michelmores, specialising in employment law.

A father-of-two from Exeter, Henry already had a broad awareness of the charity when he met Westbank’s Head of Carers Services, Andy Hood, at a networking event a few years ago. When he subsequently learnt that Westbank was looking for a law-oriented Trustee to join its Board, he was quick to express his interest in the role.

Why do you have to invest in stocks?

There are important things that seem obvious yet many people don’t take them seriously. If such fundamental things are taken seriously, then the living standard of many people across the globe would change drastically. One such thing is investing. You don’t have to be a billionaire to invest. With the little amount you have in your hands, there is always something you can invest in and become successful.

If you don’t know the importance of investment in stock, you will not take it seriously and definitely your life will not change. Although stocks are considered to be highly...

Why your company needs a dedicated business phone number

When starting out, a huge percentage of business owners will not put into consideration, during their preliminary planning and setting up of the business, a functional business number. Having a business number has a lot of benefits which would help your company grow.

Those people, who use personal or private lines for their businesses, will soon get caught up and start regretting why they did not get a business number from the word go. With the introduction of mobile phones, the traditional 9 to 5 working hours is slowly becoming extinct.

This is because people might be...

Established in 1923 by Lorenz Wagner, LOWA started out as a small Bavarian manufacturer of Oxford Brogue shoes. Handcrafting their footwear using the Norwegian welt-stitch, by the end of the decade LOWA’s reputation had grown to the point where supply could no longer meet demand and their manufacturing facility had to expand. Jump forward to the present day and the brand’s growth has lost none of its momentum. Having shifted their focus from formal shoes to more practical footwear during the 1960’, the 1970s and the 1980s, LOWA’s use of the latest innovations have led to them becoming a...
