Leading local advice charity, Citizens Advice Exeter, is urging people to shop around for their pension to make sure they get the best deal for their retirement.

A new national report from Citizens Advice found 7 in 10 people who have accessed their pension since new freedoms were introduced didn’t shop around for different products.

A quarter of consumers (24%) who stayed with their pension provider did so because they thought the product they were offered delivered the best value - despite not looking at options with other providers.

Police have arrested three men after executing two warrants in Exeter.

At around 5.30pm on Thursday 7th July local officers, assisted by the force’s specialist support group, executed two simultaneous warrants at two flats in Kinnerton Way, Exeter.

The warrants were executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act and followed earlier information received.

The three men arrested are all from Exeter and were all arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. Two of the men are aged 20 while the third is aged 19. All three remain in police custody...
