A Redrow site manager at St Michael's Meadow has won a top national award for the quality of the homes they’re building in Exeter.

Roy Taylor has won a Pride in the Job award from the National House Building Council (NHBC) for the second consecutive year. This follows his success in 2025 when he achieved the Seal of Excellence in the regional stage of the competition – an accolade awarded to only the top 5% of site managers in the UK.

The winners of the 2023 NFRC UK Roofing Awards were revealed last week (12 May) at the InterContinental London — The O2, in a glittering awards ceremony hosted by broadcaster Colin Murray.

Devon County Show is going back to its roots in 2023, with initiatives planned to encourage greater attendance from the farming community.

First up is a new, concentrated farming area. This will be devoted to agricultural trade stands, where farmers can find everything, they need to manage their farms in one dedicated area.
