The Devon-wide health and wellbeing charity, Westbank Community Health and Care, is delighted to welcome lawyer Henry Cross as its newest Trustee. Henry is a Senior Associate at Michelmores, specialising in employment law.

A father-of-two from Exeter, Henry already had a broad awareness of the charity when he met Westbank’s Head of Carers Services, Andy Hood, at a networking event a few years ago. A flooring retailer has marked the opening of its new £100,000 store in Newton Abbot by pledging its support for a local mental health support charity.

Flooring Superstore opened on the Kingsteignton Trading Estate, Pottery Road, in September.

Devon County Council’s Reuse Project Officer Catherine Causley has been recognised for her outstanding contribution to recycling at a prestigious national awards ceremony.

Catherine was awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Recycling Award 2019 at the recent annual Local Authority Recycling Advisory Committee (LARAC) Conference in Birmingham.

Kitchen retailer Kutchenhaus has opened its first-ever new store in Exeter this October, marking its 30th showroom to open in the UK.

The store, at Alphinbrook Court in Marsh Barton, is now open and is having a “Welcome to our Showroom” event on the 19th October at 10 a.m., where the design team will be showing off the the new displays and serving coffee and biscuits.

A two-year £1.3m joint project to install at least 25 electric vehicle charge points for public use in car parks across Devon begins in October 2019
