The Grecians, who have accumulated 77 points this season, are already guaranteed a play-off place but need a point to secure that they are at home in the second leg. They could still play any of the following teams in the semi-final Notts County, Coventry City, Lincoln City or Mansfield Town.

City manager Paul Tisdale is expecting a few players to return from injury in time for Saturday’s match and is...

Chiefs side to face Harlequins

Ali Hepher has dismissed talk that Exeter Chiefs will be coasting their way through tomorrow's (Saturday) final round of the Aviva Premiership away to Harlequins at The Stoop (4pm). Having already secured top spot and a home semi-final following their exertions already this season, some observers have muttered that the defending champions may well take the opportunity to rest up and relax ahead of their last four encounter against either Newcastle Falcons or Wasps on May 19. That notion, however, was quickly dispelled by Head Coach Hepher at this week's media briefing, where he in fact...

As the final prep is made to Harry and Meghan’s big day on May 19, so the planning is already being put in place for Exeter’s showpiece occasion on the same day.

The Chiefs already knew they had home advantage for next month’s semi-final showdown at Sandy Park, but they helped rubber-stamp their authority in the Aviva Premiership by collecting a maximum haul against visiting Sale Sharks.

Tries from Nic White White, Lachie Turner, Jack Yeandle and Greg Holmes were the highlights of another decent display from Rob Baxter’s side, whose latest victory on home turf ensured they...

Grecians fall to defeat at the Lamex stadium

Exeter City fell to a 3-1 defeat away from home against Stevenage in Sky Bet League Two.

In a match where the Grecians created a host of chances, it was the hosts who were the more clinical as Alex Revell claimed a hat-trick at the Lamex stadium.

Pierce Sweeney did pull one back for City from the penalty spot but it wasn't to be as City will now have to settle for a play-off spot as they continue to search for promotion.
