Ignition, a leading UK provider of vehicle and asset finance for SMEs, is continuing to expand with the appointment of three new senior members to its team.

Awe and amazement at the thousands of miles travelled by little Reed Warbler

Thanks to a tiny ring on its leg, a Reed Warbler caught by the Axe Estuary Ringing Group on the East Devon District Council Nature Reserve last week, revealed it has travelled to Africa and back at least nine times!

A sporting challenge led by the world's greatest sailor is being cheered on with special reason by an Exeter accountancy firm.

The qualifiers for the 35th America’s Cup are now underway in Bermuda and, if all goes to plan, four times’ Olympic gold medallist Sir Ben Ainslie could be lifting the trophy in late June.

Sir Ben, who launched Land Rover BAR (Ben Ainslie Racing) two and a half years ago to bring the prestigious America's Cup back to Britain, is a long-standing client of PKF Francis Clark.

Hospiscare’s latest shop opened in Heavitree in March and is already doing a roaring trade in a range of electrical goods, homeware, clothes, and second-hand books.

Recently, however, the shop took on a more educational role as the manager Bonnie Gilbert was invited to visit the Heavitree Brownie Troop to share the importance of the work that Hospiscare does.

Exeter School hosts British Shooting Target Sprint

Exeter School is hosting a British Shooting Target Sprint on 10 June, open to all aged 11+. No experience is needed and all the equipment is provided.

Gorgs Geikie from Devon, who represented Great Britain at the London Olympics, is organising the 2017 Target Sprint National Series.

Get active with Princesshay and Active Devon

On the 31st May, Princesshay will team up with Active Devon to provide a day of activities and demonstrations including yoga, roller skating and dance in Princesshay square where shoppers can find out more about what’s going on in the region.
