The bike in question is a very special three-wheeler and it belongs to local nature charity, Devon Wildlife Trust. Dogs living in the South West of England are more likely to have longer walks than the national average, according to a new survey.
The survey, of more than 3,000 dog-owners across the country, showed that 38% of dogs have a walk of longer than an hour, compared to 35% nationally.
The survey was commissioned in the lead up to the RSPCA’s Big Walkies challenge in October, which invites people to walk 10,000 steps a day, with or without a dog, to raise money for animals in need. The results also found that 22% of dogs in the region have three walks a day - while almost 7%...
Bus Workers Union RMT has confirmed that members on Stagecoach South West buses will be mounting a major programme of strike action in a fight for pay and workplace justice.
RMT’s executive has taken the decision to call on all our Stagecoach South West Exeter, Torquay and Barnstaple members to take industrial action as a result of the company’s abject failure to address pay and conditions issues at the heart of this dispute.
