Devon County Council's adoption team has won a major industry award as part of National Adoption Week.
The British Association of Adoption and Fostering (BAAF) has announced Devon County as Local Authority Adoption Team of the Year 2014.
The team received their accolade at the awards ceremony last night week at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London.

A £659,000 project to deliver even cleaner seas off Teignmouth gets under way today.
South West Water will be constructing a 500 cubic metre underground storage tank in Teignmouth station car park.
This additional storm water storage capacity will reduce the number of discharges from the sewerage network during extremely wet weather. Four men have been convicted and sentenced to a total of 94 years following a nine-week murder trial at Exeter Crown Court. Stephen Crook, 43, was discovered seriously injured at his home in Alphington Road, Exeter on 21 September last year. He had sustained multiple knife injuries and was taken to hospital where he later died. Ryan Singleton, 26, from Coventry, was convicted of murder and robbery and sentenced to 28 years.
Steve Webster, 42, from Okehampton, was convicted of manslaughter and robbery and sentenced to 24 years.
