Exeter-based charity Rainbow Living are proud to be supporting Learning Disability Week 2015, taking place 15-21 June, and are encouraging people in Devon to ‘Hear My Voice’ as some of the people the charity supports share their stories to help raise awareness of learning disability.
On Thursday 11th June, a team of executives from Exeter Family Friendly will launch the start of awareness about LDW by cycling 72 miles for Rainbow Living, stopping on route at Exeter Family’s offices to launch the week with Rainbow Living and the Deputy Lord Mayor, Councillor Lesley Robson.

Using a blend of contemporary and 1980s technology this is a concert of unique, experimental, electronic music not to be missed. A Physicist at the University of Exeter has received a substantial grant to help improve the sustainability of commercially valuable crops.
Professor Julian Moger has received a share of the £885,781 grant to fund pioneering research into how to improve the uniformity and resilience in Brassica seeds – which include cabbages and mustard plants.
The research will develop new varieties of Brassica seeds that are not affected by the effects of adverse temperature conditions during the early stages of production.
