The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth is looking for proud owners to show off their cherished motors at its first ever annual Car Show this July.

There will be competitions for modern and vintage cars with categories including ‘Show and Shine’ and ‘Best in Show’.

Fabulous prizes include top ‘detailing’ kits kindly sponsored by Servo Engineering, Exeter.

Visitors can enter a free raffle to win a pressure washer and a range of cleaning products.

As well as admiring beautiful motors the show offers the chance to meet hundreds of rescued donkeys and mules on site...

Stagecoach Southwest have announced that, from 30th March 2015, they will be making changes to their B bus service.

The changes have been prompted by the end of 12 months of Devon County Council local sustainable transport funding which saw the B service extend to Dawlish in order to attract new users to/from Matford.

From the end of the month the B service will, instead, revert to finishing at Exminster as the patronage has not materialised which would sustain the extension to the route in the longer term.

A new 2B service will, however, maintain popular peak hour...

There’s still time to take advantage of flooding grants but people need to hurry as the deadline is 31 March.

Exeter residents and businesses who experienced flooding between 1 December 2013 and 31 March 2014 can apply for grants of up to £5,000 to install flood resistance measures to their property.

Police in Tiverton are appealing for any witnesses to an incident that took place on or near Barrington Street at around 6.30pm on Tuesday 3 March.

It is understood that a local man in his late twenties was in collision with a white Ford Transit van, as a pedestrian.

It is believed that an altercation took place with the pedestrian and the van drove off.
