The Family Law Company appoints additional Shareholder

The Family Law Company has announced the appointment of experienced family law Solicitor Imran Khodabocus to Shareholder.

His appointment brings the number of Shareholders to ten, contributing to the firm’s succession planning strategy.

Khodabocus joined the specialist law firm in 2016. He now heads up the Domestic Abuse team, specialising in children and domestic abuse matters which are complex and sensitive. He also acts for children and grandparents in care proceedings.

City solicitors Rundlewalker have successfully retained the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark, Lexcel, a much sought after accreditation scheme for law firms in England and Wales.

Government announce safeguard for privatised Green Investment Bank based on Regen SW constitution

The government has announced it will protect the ‘green purpose’ of the Green Investment Bank after privatisation, using an approach modelled on Regen SW’s constitution. A ‘special share’ in the bank will be held by a separate company independent of both the bank and the government.

The bank would not be able to make changes to its green mission unless this ‘Special Shareholder’ gives its consent.
