Deadline looms for Queen's Awards for Enterprise applications

Businesses in Devon are being reminded that the application deadline for the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is just over two weeks away.

HM Lord-Lieutenant of Devon, David Fursdon, and Devon County Council are encouraging firms across the county to apply for the renowned awards, which are now in their 50th year, to showcase Devon’s thriving and innovative business organisations.

The Sowton branch of Devondale Electrical has recently been given a makeover, with new counters, displays and information screens.

The refurbishment is the latest stage in Devondale’s company-wide rebranding initiative.

Brexit having 'negligible effect' on housing market

House price growth remained resilient in July although key indicators covering, agreed sales and new instructions all remained negative in the South West, according to the latest RICS UK Residential Market Survey.
