An informal summer service of celebration that has been held in Chudleigh for many years. Originally tied in with the Carnival, the service is organised by members of the Baptist and Parish Church congregations. With leaders and musicians from both churches, we seek to give thanks to God for our community of Chudleigh, celebrate all that is good about our town, and pray for the needs of those around us, and the wider world.
Everyone is very welcome to join us in the Marquee, and refreshments will be available afterwards.
To open the revelry of Chudfest we are holding a Beach themed party in the Marquee, with the highly acclaimed live band “Reckless” providing a whole night of funkymusic to boogie to. There will be a tasty BBQ supper included in the ticket price and a fully licensed, reasonably – priced bar to help get the party going! Doors open at 7pm and the party finishes when the band stops playing. So grab your loudest shirt and your hula skirt and join the party.
Tickets £20, available from Woods Estate Agents, Fore St, from 10am to 12 noon on Monday 30th May and from Thursday 2nd June at the...

IgG is the most abundant form of antibody and is found within all bodily fluids. It is...

Right now Kaleider is seeking an exceptional individual to become the company’s first Chair of the Board.

Forget everything you know about magic and magicians… Now remember it all again.
This is not a magic show is a performance of and about sleight-of-hand magic: its invisible mechanics, its clichés, and what it tells us about live theatre and make-believe. In a conversational yet crafted approach, Vincent Gambini presents astonishing close-up magic that invites us to question how enchantment and wonder are produced within a theatrical situation.
Possibly the first of its kind, Vincent Gambini’s This is not a magic show is part performance-lecture, part deconstructed showbiz,...
