Devon’s much-loved, family friendly, not-for-profit event will feature the biggest and most diverse line up in its 10-year history.

The theme for the wildly popular fancy dress day on Saturday will be ‘Legends’.

Set in 70 acres of farmland on the edge of Dartmoor, Chagstock is renowned for its stunning location, diverse line-up of artists and non-corporate, family friendly atmosphere.

The Kitsons Devon Classic Bike Ride will be taking place on Sunday 17 July 2016 and registrations are NOW OPEN! The event will once again be starting and finishing the event at Sandy Park in Exeter, the home of the high flying Exeter Chiefs RFC.

Scientists at the University of Exeter have developed a pioneering new technique that could revolutionise the surgical treatment of epilepsy.

New gargoyle commemorates appointment of Devon’s first woman bishop

A new gargoyle in the shape of a Bishop’s mitre, marking the appointment of the first woman bishop in Devon, is to be unveiled this weekend.

The new gargoyle on the church of St Mary, Aylesbeare replaces one lost from the church decades ago, and joins the three remaining gargoyles on the 15th century tower.

It was designed to mark the appointment of Bishop Sarah Mullally as the new bishop of Crediton in 2015. She was the first woman bishop in the South West, and the fourth in the country as a whole.

Exhibition by world-famous abstract artist comes to Exeter

An exhibition by internationally renowned abstract artist will launch at Castle Fine Art.

The exhibition, created by Alex Echo, will be displayed on 16 July, and is called ‘The shape of things’.

Alex is self-taught and has not had any training. He has been creating artwork professionally for 37 years capturing the attention of some of the world’s top corporations, institutions, and celebrities.

Bandvulc, the independent truck tyre retreader, demonstrated strong credentials at the Harrogate International Centre.
