Kids Classes: Tiny Bead Bracelet

As part of our Kid's Summer Holiday classes we're hosting a jewellery making workshop in which you'll learn to make a bracelet with tiny seed beads! You'll have a tutorial about using jewellery wire and crimp beads, and then design your bracelet and add a lovely charm too.

Time and Date: Wednesday 24th August, 11am to 12.30pm.

Show of Hands mark 25th anniversary with return to Royal Albert Hall

Singer songwriter Steve Knightley and instrumentalist Phil Beer in the band Show of Hands will mark their 25th anniversary with their 5th performance at The Royal Albert Hall in April 2017.

South West urged to face freezer fears

Research released as part of Food Safety Week 4-10 July has shown 64 percent of people in the South West have unnecessarily thrown food away in the past month.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) are urging the public in the South West to face their “freezer fear” to tackle the issue of food waste.

FSA’s research showed that 33 percent of people interviewed said it is dangerous to freeze cooked meat, and 41 percent believe food becomes unsafe to eat while in the freezer.
