A CHARITY, which works to prevent young people becoming homeless, is urging the public to help it secure a funding grant. Community Housing Aid is in the running for a grant for its project, Nightstop Devon, which provides emergency accommodation for young people. A great day was had by all at Children’s Hospice South West’s fundraising Rainbow Run event which was held for the first time at Westpoint Arena on Saturday 10 June.
Over 1200 people of all ages took part in the 5k fun run and were covered from head to toe in multi-coloured powder paint while they ran, walked and jogged their way through the seven different colour stations around the route.
