Doreen Chippington is celebrating her 80th birthday in daring fashion with a family skydive at Dunkeswell Airfield on 30 August to raise money for her local church.
Her son Michael and grandsons Haddon and Toby are also jumping.
It is the second time that Doreen will have skydived, her first time was to celebrate her 70th birthday. However this time she aims to collect as much sponsorship as she can for her parish church of St Michael and All Angels in Awliscombe which needs to raise £70,000 for vital roof repairs after thieves stole the lead.
The 2014/15 campaign is barely underway and the Devon Derby is already upon us.
For this weekend’s hosts, Plymouth Argyle, it offers hope of getting more from the game than they did when the teams last met at Home Park as recently as March, when City came from behind to win 2-1.
Meanwhile for Exeter City, it gives the chance to build on a commendable start to the campaign and to aim to register a first win of the new football year.
Supporters are reminded that this is an all-ticket match .
