A community was today in mourning after the death of a 12-year-old boy following a collision with a lorry in Exeter.
Flowers were laid at the scene of the accident on the junction of Topsham Road and the Countess Wear roundabout.

There are hundreds of user-worked crossings on farmland in Britain, which see a marked increase in traffic during the harvest season. A 12-year-old boy has died after after he was involved in a collision with a skip lorry on a zebra crossing in Exeter yesterday afternoon (Thursday 28 August).
Police attended a road traffic collision at around 3.10pm on Topsham Road, near Countess Wear.
The collision happened on the zebra crossing on the Topsham side of Countess Wear roundabout and involved a 12-year-old boy, who was a pedestrian, and a skip lorry.

The two suspects are believed to be responsible for a series of high value shoplifting offences that have occurred in Newton Abbot, Plymouth and East Devon.
