The UK’s largest nature conservation charity, the RSPB, has revealed it’s “top ten spectacular autumn nature reserves” to visit this September, as people across the country look to escape the everyday with a staycation.

With over 200 nature reserves across the country, the charity are celebrating the wonderful autumn season by inviting people to spend time in nature – whether it’s a relaxing stroll through swaying reeds, a crunchy walk through fallen leaves and mystical woodland, or a peaceful sunset over a mosaic of habitats.

Exeter’s popular destination street market, the Fore Street Flea, makes a welcome return to the city on Sunday 12th September.

The Fore Street Flea celebrates Exeter’s independent West Quarter and will be open to the public between 12pm – 4pm.

Six schools in the area have been nominated by the local community to be given a bee brick from RGB Building Supplies so they can encourage solitary bees to their outdoor areas.

For every sale over £150 during Solitary Bee Week, which took place between Monday 28th June and Sunday 4th July, RGB donated money to purchase bee bricks from Cornwall-based company Green&Blue. The builders merchant was able to buy 80 bricks, which will provide environments for bees to nest, and invited people to nominate schools, charities and community groups to receive one of the special bee...
