Leading South West building services engineering company EX2 Group has welcomed three new apprentices this week, as they begin their professional training in Electrical Installation with Exeter College.

Christian, Alfie, and Harvey were welcomed to the Exeter offices by James Rayner (right), Project Manager. A series of workshops are being held in Devon over the next month to help farmers and landowners improve the condition of their soil.

Devon County Council has launched the Farming Recovery programme to help farm businesses to adopt best practice of soil and nutrients management on their land.

Preparations are underway at popular Ottery town centre pub The Volunteer Inn to mark the tenth anniversary of ownership by Mike and Jacqui Down.

The couple moved into the pub at the end of February 2012 and have spent the past decade working tirelessly to make it into something really special.

The Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS) has announced the successful applicants of its largest ever research grants round , after reviewing a record number of applications.

One of the world’s first Omicron-specific variant vaccines is to be trialled in Devon and Cornwall, as the biotechnology company Moderna, Inc works with the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).

The innovative study will see participants receive a first or second booster.
