UK health and life insurer The Exeter has announced that seven of their colleagues are preparing to cycle 340 miles from London to Paris in June 2026, as part of a major fundraising effort for the company’s corporate charity partner, Macmillan Cancer Support.
The team has already raised more than £23,000, with fundraising continuing ahead of the challenge. The ride reflects The Exeter’s ongoing commitment to supporting Macmillan’s work, which provides care, practical support and advocacy for people affected by cancer across the UK.

Macmillan Cancer Support's Financial Grant Scheme has recently been boosted by a donation of £5,000 from the Devonshire Freemasons. The donation was made after the Freemason's learned of the financial struggle people are facing when diagnosed with cancer.
Area Fundraising Manager for Macmillan, Suzie Warren, said "We are so grateful for the support we have received from the Devonshire Freemasons. This donation will have a direct impact on people in Devon struggling with the cost of cancer."

Michelmores is proud to announce a fundraising total of £65,273 for its Charity of the Year, Macmillan Cancer Support.
Over its two year partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, Michelmores hosted a variety of events across its Exeter, Bristol and London offices.
The majority of funds raised came from the firm’s popular 5K run, that takes place in Exeter's City Centre and attracts around 1,000 runners each year.

Police officers and staff in Devon and Cornwall are a shade more colourful this week for a unique charity drive which has raised £12,000.
Many police officers and staff have swapped traditional epaulettes for bright pink ones and are sporting pink lanyards on their Force ID badges for a week [7-13 September].

Our huge thanks go to everyone who made our recent fundraising and awareness day in Exeter a great success.
