The Exeter takes on London to Paris cycle for Macmillan Cancer Support

UK health and life insurer The Exeter has announced that seven of their colleagues are preparing to cycle 340 miles from London to Paris in June 2026, as part of a major fundraising effort for the company’s corporate charity partner, Macmillan Cancer Support.

The team has already raised more than £23,000, with fundraising continuing ahead of the challenge. The ride reflects The Exeter’s ongoing commitment to supporting Macmillan’s work, which provides care, practical support and advocacy for people affected by cancer across the UK.

The Exeter has organised a range of fundraising activities in the lead-up to the cycle, including raffles, and quiz nights, alongside generous sponsorship from friends, family, colleagues and corporate partners.

The Exeter’s partnership with Macmillan reflects its wider purpose to provide people with valuable support in the unexpected event of ill health or injury.

The London to Paris cycle is one of several initiatives The Exeter is undertaking to support Macmillan throughout the year, reinforcing its commitment to making a meaningful difference while continuing to support advisers and members with health and protection solutions that make a difference to clients facing financial uncertainty.

J amie Page, Head of Protection Distribution at The Exeter, said:“We’re incredibly proud of the team taking on this challenge. Cycling from London to Paris is no small feat, but the support we’ve received so far has been brilliant and keeps everyone motivated as the big day approaches.

“We’re especially grateful to our corporate partners from across the industry and everyone who has contributed to the fundraising efforts so far. Macmillan is a charity that means a great deal to so many people, and the work they do to support those living with cancer is invaluable. Being able to play a small part in that through this challenge is something we’re all very proud of.”
