Businesses from around Exeter came together for an early morning networking breakfast to launch YMCA Exeter’s exciting 2017 campaign, Changing Rooms, Changing Lives.

This will see the renovation of the currently unhomely communal living space at its St David’s Hill accommodation centre, currently used by over 50 young people.

On Saturday 3rd December, thrill seekers will abseil 100ft down the side of Princesshay’s car park raising vital funds for YMCA Exeter in the hair-raising process.

For the third year, Princesshay will be hosting this year’s YMCA Santa Abseil. A festive spectacle awaits onlookers as the abseilers don festive attire for their adventure.

YMCA Exeter residents sign for Bristol City

Three men from YMCA Exeter have completed the Homeless FA training Centre programme at Bristol City Football. Nathan Tuley (22), John Oliver (20) and Rhys Feeney (19) found out about the Training Centre programme through YMCA Exeter, who provide Supported Accommodation for young homeless people.

Big Lottery grant secures future of YMCA Exeter Job Clubs

YMCA Exeter have been awarded a grant worth £304,781 from The National Lottery Big Lottery Fund, securing the future of their Community Job Clubs for the next three years.

The charity runs Job Clubs across the city, delivering specialist support to anyone affected by factors which make obtaining work seem hopeless, such as homelessness, criminal history, disabilities, or living in deprived areas. YMCA Exeter Interns set themselves admirable challenge in first week

Four out of the six new YMCA Exeter Ten:10 Interns have signed up for the charities Great West Run team in the first week of them being in the city.

All four boys, who are not only giving a year of their lives to serve the charity through their time and effort, are also running the 13.1 mile route to help combat youth homelessness.

Well now’s your chance to enter Devon’s biggest cycling event and to raise money for a vital local cause at the same time.
