Teenager dies after falling from ladder

Police and the Health and Safety Executive are carrying out an investigation into the death of a teenager in Newton Abbot.

Officers were called at 1pm on Thursday 4 December after reports a 17-year-old boy had fallen from a ladder in Abbotskerswell.

The teenager, from the South Devon area, was taken by air ambulance to Derriford Hospital with serious head and back injuries and passed away in hospital on Friday 5 December.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Devon detectives launch murder inquiry

Detectives have launched a murder enquiry following the suspicious death of 17-year-old in Kingsbridge in the early hours of this morning.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Prince of Wales Road at 2.20am on Sunday 6 July following reports that the teenager had been injured during an altercation involving people at the taxi rank.

On arrival they found the boy, from the Kingsbridge area, had sustained serious injuries.

Inquest to be held as Harry Martin is formally identified

The body recovered from the sea last Saturday (11 January) has been formally identified as the missing teenager Harry Martin today (16 January).

A formal inquest into the death of Mr Martin, who went missing from his home in Newton Ferrers during the height of the recent storms, is due to begin next Monday (20 January).

The 18-year-old’s body was found in Carswell Bay in the Noss Mayo area by friends who were aiding in the search effort using sea kayaks.

17-year-old boy airlifted after car overturns on M5 near Cullompton

A 17-year-old boy has been airlifted to hospital after the car he was travelling rolled on the M5 southbound near Cullompton.

The collision happened just before 11am today (Monday 19 August) about one mile past Junction 28.

Police, fire and ambulance services were called to the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager had his teeth knocked out during an assault in Sidmouth at the weekend. The incident happened at around 1am on Saturday 10 August in Ham Lane. Teenager arrested after fire damages Exmouth bungalow

A 17-year-old boy from Exmouth has been arrested on suspicion of burglary, theft, arson and criminal damage following a fire at a property in Kay Close, Exmouth on Wednesday 7 August. No-one was in the property at the time.

The teenager has been released on police bail until 5 November, to appear at Heavitree Road police station.

MISSING: Authorities concerned for teenager, last seen in Exeter nine days ago

Police and Devon County Council are concerned for a teenage boy, last seen in Exeter on Wednesday 13 March.

15-year old Charlie Yeo, of Bittaford near Plymouth, is white, approximately 6' tall, of slim build, with short blonde hair and prominent front teeth.

The Council has released a photograph of the teenager in the hope that someone will know where he is.

Police concerned for missing teenager from Ivybridge

Police are concerned for the welfare of 18-year-old man Jamie Grewal, who has gone missing from the Ivybridge area.

He was last seen last on Friday afternoon, 4th January, after having a drink with friends after work in the Abbey Inn pub at Buckfastleigh during lunchtime. He was then dropped off in Ivybridge around 1.30pm to 2pm.

He has not been seen or heard from since that time.

Jamie is described as five feet five inches tall, of very slim build with dark brown, short hair.

He was last seen wearing a turquoise blue jacket with jeans and trainers.
