The MS Trust’s Survival Skills Weekend will be taking place in Ashclyst Forest in Devon from 23-25 June to raise funds to help people with multiple sclerosis. The charity is looking for 10 budding Bear Grylls to take part in this outdoor adventure where participants will be sponsored to live in shelters they have built and eat food they have foraged from the forest. This wilderness survival challenge will be raising funds to help the MS Trust ensure no one has to manage MS alone. On 20 and 21 July, why not get the camping gear out and spend a weekend at Lydford Gorge near Tavistock learning survival techniques?

An exciting itinerary of activities will run over the weekend. These include looking at what you need to survive in the wild, ‘proper’ den building, learning to light a fire as well as cooking over an open fire. The Dartmoor ranger team will lead the sessions and will even produce hot chocolate at the overnight camp in the orchard at the Gorge.
