QE Sixth Formers recognised for participation in volunteering, community service and action

Queen Elizabeth’s School, in Crediton, is delighted that once again over 50 of their Sixth Form students have succeeded in meeting the demands of the QE Sixth Form Diploma Award.

The Diploma Award evening, held on Thursday 4th May, celebrated QE Sixth Formers exceptional achievements. The award commends not only the incredible work ethic that leads QE students to achieve some of the very best A level results in Devon, but also their outstanding participation in volunteering, community service and action.

Isca Academy students celebrate GCSE results

143 students at Isca Academy are receiving their GCSE results today and we are extremely proud to report that they have achieved an impressive set of figures, with the Academy’s results improving once again.

I in 5 results this year is an A*/A, demonstrating Isca Academy’s ability to enable our most able students to achieve an exceptional level of academic achievement. Over 15% of the year group results contain 5 or more A* and A grades.

Santander donation boosts education for deaf children

Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education has received £2,220 to fund new equipment for its Sensory Pod to support students’ physical and emotional development needs.

The donation was provided by the Santander Foundation, which offers grants to UK registered charities for projects that help disadvantaged people in local communities.
