Get an insight into the Exeter Chiefs and the laws of rugby with our series of events with the coaches of the 2017 Premiership champions.

The first event 'How we won the Premiership' is on Wednesday, 13th September, with Director of Rugby Rob Baxter and the six 'original' players who were in both the Championship and Premiership winning squads. Ali Hepher will then be doing a 'Rugby For Dummies' on Wednesday, 11th October.

Rugby royalty helped Gareth Steenson kick off his testimonial year last night.

Among the stars of the sport joining him for the launch were David Flatman, Richard Hill, Danny Grewcock and Mike Tindall.

Former Chiefs players at the Sandy Park event were Chris Budgen, Tommy Hayes and Bryan Rennie.

And England legend Jonny Wilkinson, who couldn’t be there on the night, sent a special video message.

Steeno said he was humbled by the turn out and the tributes he received.

The man charged with overseeing Gareth Steenson’s testimonial game at Sandy Park this Saturday (AUGUST 12), Tony ‘Spreaders’ Spreadbury has heaped praise on the Exeter Chiefs.

The former international referee has since retired but is now head of RFU officials.

And he said he was relishing the chance to pull on his boots again.

Steenson is celebrating 10 years as an Exeter Chief and as part of his celebratory year is staging a game featuring an Exeter select side who will take on a Classic Lions team featuring Mike Tindall.

Former Gloucester powerhouse Junior Paramore has said he cannot understand why Exeter Chiefs legend Gareth Steenson hasn’t been picked for his national side.

Paramore has been named amongst a Classic Lions side that will take on a Chiefs select XV at Sandy Park on August 12.

New Exeter Chiefs signing Nic White says he feels like he has made '45 new friends' since joining the team.

The Australian international joined this summer from French Top 14 club Montpellier Herault Rugby.

With fellow Aussies such as Julian Salvi, Lachie Turner, Ollie Atkins, Ben White and Dave Dennis already embedded with the Chiefs, the scrum-half was guaranteed a warm welcome.

Stars from the sporting, entertainment and culinary world came together last Friday 30th June to celebrate Devon's community sporting heroes and heroines for the 20th Devon Sports Awards.

The glittering celebration evening was the culmination of a six month nomination and shortlisting process. The Devon Sports Awards recognise and celebrate the best of both community and professional sport in Devon.
