Fans across the world have just 50 days to go until the start of Rugby World Cup 2015, hosted in England and in Cardiff between September 18 and October 31, 2015.

As the countdown continues, to what is predicted to be the biggest Rugby World Cup to date, fans will today have further opportunities to be part of Rugby World Cup 2015 as an additional 30,000 tickets go on general sale from 1200 (BST) for matches in Pools A and B via tickets.rugbyworldcup.com

Tomorrow (July 31) a further 25,000 tickets will also go on general sale from 1200 (BST) for matches in Pools C and D....

Competition to find RWC flag bearers launches in Exeter

Emirates, a global connector of people, places and passions, and its ambassador for rugby, Ben Foden, has today launched a flag hunt in Exeter to find the Official Flag Bearers for the tournament.

Young players selected for RWC ball teams

Over 130 young players from across England and Wales have been given the chance to be involved in Rugby World Cup 2015 as part of the 13 Ball Teams.

With global excitement building ahead of Rugby World Cup 2015, Tournament Organisers, England Rugby 2015, have unveiled the official design that will feature on the tickets for the 48 matches.

RWC2015 arts projects win Lottery funding

Two art projects celebrating the Rugby World Cup 2015 coming to Exeter have won grants from the National Lottery.

The projects showcase the cultures of the visiting nations – Namibia, Tonga, Romania, Italy and Georgia – through film and performance.

Both successfully secured Grants for the Arts from the National Lottery through Arts Council England for Rugby World Cup 2015 projects. They are also being funded by Exeter City Council

Help decorate Exeter ahead of RWC

People are being invited to help play their part in decorating Exeter in the lead up to Rugby World Cup 2015.

Preparations are underway to clad the city in bunting and 'yarn bombing' in white, yellow, red, green and blue - the colours of the teams taking part in the Rugby World Cup 2015 games at Sandy Park.

To kick things off there will be a launch event at Exeter Corn Exchange on Monday (18 May), where people pop in between 2pm and 8pm to find out more about the initiative.

25,000 Rugby World Cup tickets to go on sale

Fans will have further opportunities to buy tickets for Rugby World Cup 2015 matches from Tuesday April 28, via tickets.rugbyworldcup.com , from 10am.

25,000 tickets will go on sale for an additional 12 matches at Sandy Park (Exeter), Kingsholm Stadium (Gloucester), Brighton Community Stadium (Brighton), Elland Road (Leeds) and Villa Park (Birmingham). This is in addition to the 16 matches currently on sale at tickets.rugbyworldcup.com

RWC children's legacy commitment

Every Key Stage One and Foundation child in Exeter is to receive a free, specially commissioned book about Rugby as a part of Exeter’s Rugby World Cup 2015 Legacy commitment.

Rugby's greatest prize, the Webb Ellis Cup, will visit Exeter on 10 and 11 July during the Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour.
