Mumm targets away-day response

Dean Mumm insists he and his Exeter Chiefs' team-mates have "nothing to lose" ahead of this Sunday's Aviva Premiership encounter with Saracens at Allianz Park (3.15pm). The Australian international was as disappointed as anyone inside Sandy Park last Saturday as the Chiefs were again undone by rivals Bath Rugby in an enthralling Westcountry derby. The narrow 27-23 loss was again another tough pill to swallow for Devon's finest and the 29-year-old forward believes it's vital the Chiefs learn from the experiences if they are to push forward. "It was probably a missed opportunity for us and...

Tui targets Bath scalp

Hoani Tui believes Exeter Chiefs will have to be "on their toes" when they play host to local rivals Bath in the Aviva Premiership this Saturday (3.15pm).

With vital top flight points up for grabs as the season hits a crucial phase, Tui is well aware he and his team-mates can ill afford another slip-up following last week's last-gasp defeat to league leaders Northampton Saints at Sandy Park.

Currently the Chiefs sit in eighth spot, some seven points adrift of the last play-off spot which is currently occupied by Harlequins on 36 points. Bath, on the other hand, are enjoying...

Exeter Chiefs can confirm that Saturday’s Aviva Premiership clash with visiting Bath Rugby is now an official sell-out. The final few tickets for the eagerly-anticipated game, which will kick-off at 3.15pm, were sold early on Monday morning and mean Sandy Park will play host to a crowd of 10,744. Exeter Rugby Club chief executive Tony Rowe OBE said: “We’re delighted to announce another sell-out crowd here at Sandy Park, games between ourselves and Bath are always great occasions and I’ve no doubt this will be no different. “The fact it’s a local derby – and that we still have yet to beat...

To date the Hastings-born forward has featured five times for Rob Baxter's side with all of his appearances having come in Cup competition.

Confirming the arrival of Graham, La Rochelle coach Patrice Collazo said: "Romana is a player that I have followed...

The chance to be wined and dined alongside members of the Exeter Chiefs first team squad certainly proved a smash hit as over 300 females descended on Sandy Park for the latest Ladies Night (Thursday 30 January).

In a fun-filled evening at the home of the Aviva Premiership club, party-goers not only got the chance to be in the company of the Chiefs players for a night, but they were royally entertained with musical performances from both Adam Isaac and Riccardo, as well as getting the chance to dance the night away with Danny’s Disco.

No Concern for Chiefs Game

Exeter Chiefs currently have no concerns with regards to today's Aviva Premiership clash with Northampton Saints taking place.

Although the region is set for more inclement weather today, the Chiefs - together with support from Premiership Rugby - have put in place essential preparations plans to ensure the 7pm kick-off will go ahead.

For the past few days the Sandy Park surface has been fully covered to counter against the heavy rain and this will be in place until the day of the game to protect the pitch.

The Chiefs will continue to kick supporters up to date on...

Exeter Chiefs wing Jack Nowell is set to debut for England on Saturday in the opening game of the RBS Six Nations.

The 20-year-old has already established himself as a regular starter for the Chiefs in premiership games and has been described as a ‘natural ruby player’ by head coach Rob Baxter.

Some commentators have claimed that the choice of Nowell in a new backline with only a combined total of only 91 caps by England’s head coach Stuart Lancaster is a risky proposition.

Rob Baxter has attempted to calm fears around Nowell’s inexperience, he said: “He certainly...
