Ablutions by the award-winning FellSwoop visits The Bike Shed Theatre from 24th to 28th February following its sell-out run at Edinburgh Festival 2014. Adapted from the novel, by Man Booker Prize shortlisted author, Patrick deWitt – it is an inventive fusion of music and theatre. This February South West based comedy duo Spitz & Co return to Exeter’s The Bike Shed Theatre for what the theatre’s co-founder David Lockwood has described as “the funniest thing he’s ever seen.” A big claim, but one that appears to be echoed by audiences and critics alike and culminating in the production winning the Critic’s Choice Award at the 2014 Exeter ignite Festival.

Charlie’s Live Lounge VIP Event

A VIP event was held to launch the opening of the new Charlie’s Live Lounge in Exeter before opening its door to the general public. The exciting new music venue strictly for the over 25’s is the brainchild of local businesswoman Rebecca Weaver. Guests enjoyed fizz and canapés with musical entertainment from Adam Isaac of ‘The Voice’ in the bar area. Live music on the top floor was provided by ‘Dave Can’t Dance’ and 80’s sounds from Ashes to Ashes. A charity raffle raised monies for Families for Children and St. Loye’s Foundation.
