“Russell Crowe may not be available and their budget is limited, but they are determined it will be a show you’ll never forget...”

This February South West based comedy duo Spitz & Co return to Exeter’s The Bike Shed Theatre for what the theatre’s co-founder David Lockwood has described as “the funniest thing he’s ever seen.” A big claim, but one that appears to be echoed by audiences and critics alike and culminating in the production winning the Critic’s Choice Award at the 2014 Exeter ignite Festival.

In 2000 director Ridley Scott brought you Gladiator, an epic film of bravery, honour and sacrifice. Now, nearly fifteen years later, the world-renowned French actress Gloria Delaneuf and her UK tour manager Josephine Cunningham, bring you Gloriator; an awe-inspiring production, complete with costumes made out of cardboard!

Chloe Whipple, Framework Producer at The Bike Shed Theatre said, "I laughed so hard it hurt, but in the best way possible. Spitz & Co are a total joy to watch!"

Enjoy GLORIATOR? Fans of truly new theatre will also have the opportunity to see Spitz & Co’s latest work-in-progress, GLORILLA during the companies three-day stay at The Bike Shed. The new show sees Delaneuf dryly recount her life-changing experiences in the Congolese Jungle to great comedic effect. The show artfully demonstrates how gorillas and humans can live “sans frontiers” as she shares her secret of jungle enlightenment. As work-in-progress piece, and part of The Bike Shed Theatre’s dedication to supporting artist development - tickets to the 2pm performance of GLORILLA on Saturday 14th February are free of charge.

GLORIATOR will be showing in The Bike Shed Theatre at 7.30pm on 12th, 13th & 14th of February. Tickets are available from £8 and can be purchased from the Box Office or website. The work-in-progress performance of GLORILLA will take place at 2pm on Saturday 14th February, tickets are free of charge and can be reserved through the website.
