Following weeks of preparation, a luxury Jonas & James kitchen showroom opened at The Range in Alphington, Exeter this morning. The opening of their new showroom is expected to be a welcome addition to the popular store, which already has an extensive offering across 16 departments, including an outdoor garden centre and family café.

Sandy Park remains fully open for business despite a kitchen fire at the venue overnight.

Firefighters from the Devon and Somerset Fire Service were called to the stadium in the early hours of this morning following the blaze, which was restricted to an office in the downstairs kitchen area.

The fire, which has caused minor smoke damage, was safely extinguished and no one was injured during the incident.

Lloyd’s Kitchen and Heart raise cash for Honeylands

Independently owned Lloyd’s Kitchen joined forces with Heart to help raise money for Honeylands Children’s Charity.

The Global ‘Make Some Noise’ campaign organised by Heart, attracted 50 diners and four competition winners to Lloyd’s Kitchen.

Restaurateur Lloyd Gardner hosted the event donating a delicious three-course dinner, prepared by resident Chef Graeme Murfin, for each guest with all monies going to the charity.

Killerton Kitchen restaurant strikes gold

The Killerton Kitchen restaurant has won gold in the prestigious ‘Taste of the West’ awards celebrating fantastic local food and drink in the South West.

The judges were highly impressed with the food and service, putting the restaurant on par with other’s in Devon such as the River Exe Cafe and Two Bridges.

Fire crews attend Starcross kitchen blaze

Fire crews were called to a fire at a property in Generals Close, Starcross at around noon today.

Three appliances from Middlemoor, Dawlish and Teignmouth were mobilised following a call from the occupant of a property reporting that their cooker was on fire.

On arrival firefighters entered the ground floor kitchen with 2BA and one hose reel jet, before confirming that this was a small fire involving the grill pan.

Charity fashion show a big success

On Friday 15th May, the kitchen design team at Bradburys Exeter held a charity event in their showroom, in memory of the late owner, Andy Bradbury.

Crews called to kitchen fire in Crediton

Fire crews were called into action shortly before 1.30pm on Saturday after reports of a blaze at a block of flats in Crediton.

Numerous calls were made to the fire service reporting smoke coming from a property in Town Park.

On arrival the incident commander confirmed there was a fire in the kitchen of the ground floor flat.

Crews had to force entry.

The adjacent properties were checked in the roof space to ensure the fire had not spread.

Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
