Air Marketing Reign Victorious in Children's Charity Sports Day

Last week, national children’s charity CHICKS challenged local Exeter businesses to compete in their Superstar Games. A first for the charity, the games were held in Princesshay in Exeter City Centre and sponsored by Ashley House Printing, with teams headed up by Smart Estate Agents, Attention Media, KTA, Air Marketing and a mixed team of people from various businesses. The teams went head to head in classic heats of the three-legged race, egg and spoon, obstacle course and a Shrek-themed relay in an effort to raise local awareness and funds for the Devon-based charity.

An innovative new street league will be launched across Devon and Cornwall aimed at the growing urban sport scene.

Street Series South West will feature skateboarding, scootering and freestyle BMX events at facilities across the region next year. The series will begin at Mount Hawke Skatepark near Truro on 4 January and include events in Saltash’s Junkyard Skatepark, Prime Skatepark in Plymouth and the Lodge Indoor Skatepark in Newton Abbot for young people aged 5 to 21. Santa, sleigh and reindeer come to Cofton

Devon’s favourite multi-award-winning holiday park, Cofton Country Holidays near Dawlish, is readying itself for the arrival of four very special guests on Thursday 22nd December when Father Christmas, his happy helper Elvina, and two of his most radiant reindeer come to Cofton for the afternoon.

Bringing the spirit of Christmas to Cofton whilst raising money for Children’s Hospice South West, the free to enter event will see Santa sweep in to Cofton on a sleigh drawn by Comet and Cupid at midday, ready for photos with children between 12pm and 1pm.

England blind footballers challenge local businesses

WESC Foundation (WESC) in partnership with Listen2Win hosted a Visual Impairment Challenge at WESC’s 14-acre campus in Exeter.

A loud, colourful Rio themed parade will kick off the Devon School Games which are coming to Exeter for the first time in their four year history this Wednesday 29th June.

The Devon Summer School Games will take place across 3 sites: Exeter Arena will host the RIO themed opening ceremony with St Luke’s Science and Sports College hosting all the Inclusion Sports and the Exeter Saracens pitches providing the location for a variety of sporting competition.

Registering to play in the first ever Emirates FA Cup gaming tournament held at Wembley Stadium closes in one month (18 March 2016).
