Summer jumps racing at Newton Abbot

We’ll be back on Monday 7th July for another great afternoon of summer jumps racing. Enjoy a day out in Devon with friends, family or colleagues!

Racing will start at 2:15pm with gates opening at 12:15pm. The last race is at 5:15pm.

Tickets for the day can be bought online at or by calling the racecourse office on 01626 353235. Tickets are priced at £12 for the Course Enclosure and £18 for the Paddock Enclosure.

Children aged 16 and under and students with a valid photographic student ID / NUS card can enjoy free entry.

Join Hare, Beaver, Fox, Skunk and Raccoon for a rollicking reading of new picturebook 'The Big Splash!' with local illustrator Jon Lycett-Smith.

Also on offer will be readings of another of his books 'Moo! Said Morris', the story of a little Mouse who likes to make lots of noise.

Jon will be reading from 11am-1pm at Waterstones, Exeter Roman Gate and then later on at 3-5pm at Waterstones, Exeter Cathedral.

Not all ‘friends’ have good intentions, and those that only want to use you are certainly ones you need to stop hanging out with. Sure, loaning a little money here and there and doing a couple favors when you can are needed in a friendship.
