Supporters are coming from far and wide to take part in Hospiscare’s Breakfast Run at the picturesque Knightshayes near Tiverton on the 17th September.

Sarah Awbery and her daughter are travelling all the way from Bournemouth to take part and are currently busy training and raising sponsorship. They have a special reason for supporting local charity, Hospiscare.

Although it has been over six years since Sarah’s father, Ray Pett, was cared for by Hospiscare, her memories of visiting him on the ward at Searle House in Exeter are still fresh.

Trampoline Park to open in Devon

There’s something to put a spring in your step this summer as the largest trampoline park in Devon and Cornwall is due to open in Plymouth in June.

A relatively new concept in the UK, the trampoline park concept originated from the USA and Australia before hitting Europe around 5 years ago. The popularity of the sporting activity has increased hugely over the last year with 30 UK parks opening in the last 12 months alone.

Celebrate the end of the racing season at Newton Abbot

As the end of the 2015 season draws to a close, Newton Abbot Racecourse is inviting racegoers to celebrate with the final fixture of the season on Friday 9th October.

The final fixture will mark the last chance for racing enthusiasts to enjoy racing this year at Newton Abbot until the new season begins in early 2016. The season finale will be made all the more special with live music from popular local band Station Road, who will perform after the last race.

Crealy Adventure Park is offering visitors some fantastic character themed days across various dates in August. Children’s favourites including Peppa Pig and Bob the Builder will be available to meet on days across August.
