Man seriously hurt in East Devon collision

Just before 8am on Monday 6th June 2016 a four vehicle collision occurred on an unclassified road between Dunkeswell and Hemyock in East Devon.

A motorcyclist, riding an Aprilla bike, collided with a Volkswagon Golf. Debris from this collision then damaged two other vehicles.

The motorcyclist, a man in his forties from Somerset, was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with serious and life changing injuries to his arm and leg.

No one else was injured in the collision.

Any witnesses to the collision are asked to email 101@dc.police.uk quoting reference...

Exeter student celebrates ‘I would for a grand’ competition win

Following an exciting competition run by new social media app Yubl, Nishad Rai, from Exeter University won the top prize of £1,000 after saying he would “get a bikini wax” for a grand.
