A new later living community in Exeter has marked a key milestone with a special visit from The Lord Mayor of Exeter, Councillor Anne Jobson, officially celebrating the opening of the show suite at the development.

Students at St Luke’s Church of England School in Exeter got a taste of the digital world during a hands-on entrepreneur workshop led by Evo Academy.

Fifteen year 9 and 10 students took part in the session, which offered an introduction to the world of digital enterprise and innovation. The workshop gave students the opportunity to explore how digital skills can be used to develop ideas, solve problems, and create opportunities in a fast-changing world.

A primary school teacher who suffered for years with a condition doctors dismissed as normal says she’s finally ‘back on her feet’ after a 45 minute procedure in Exeter.

Exeter College has launched Devon’s first Women’s Cricket Academy based at a non‑fee‑paying college, offering an exceptional new opportunity for young female cricketers to develop their cricketing potential alongside their academic studies.

The British Heart Foundation is Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Exeter’s chosen charity for 2026.

Club Ceilidh, a fast-growing live folk dance night that has quickly built a reputation in Plymouth, returns to Exeter on Friday 1 May following a highly successful debut event at America Hall in Pinhoe earlier this spring.

Disappointment as Exeter traffic scheme meeting called off

A keenly-anticipated meeting of a council committee which has overseen a controversial Exeter road closure has been cancelled.

The city’s highways and traffic orders committee (HATOC) had been due to meet on April 28. The committee is a ‘hybrid’ group made up of Devon County Council and Exeter City council members.
