Exmouth Town Concert Band: Patriotic Proms Concert

Exmouth Town Concert Band present a Patriotic Proms Concert, on Wednesday 15th October at 7.30pm at Holy Trinity Church, Exmouth.

The concert will be raising money for Exmouth & Lympstone Hospiscare, in memory of Ms Irene Holland who recently left the band a generous legacy. Director of Music Steve Grant will also select a piece of music in Ms Holland’s memory and this will be played on the night.

This promises to be a fantastic proms style evening, with the audience being treated to a selection of marches, war time favourites and rousing patriotic numbers.

The Apple & Cider Fair at Eggesford Gardens is a real celebration of the great English apple and all its many uses.

Exmouth Carnival Fun Day

Exmouth Carnival will be holding their annual Carnival Fun Day in The Strand between 9am and 5pm.

There will be over 60 stalls selling handmade crafts and jewellery, toys, cup cakes, clothing, ceramics, food, drinks and lots, lots more.

In addition to this we will have face painting, a bouncy castle, a children’s entertainer, balloon modeller and birds of prey. We will also be crowning this year’s carnival royalty.

There will also be entertainment running throughout the day by local groups and societies. Expect interactive dance...

Milling Day at Otterton Mill

Visit Otterton Mill to watch milling demonstrations. Water power is used to produce Otterton's signature stoneground wholemeal flour, continuing in a 1,000-year old tradition.

Go along and watch the milling - it's poetry in motion and leaves no carbon footprint! The millers are very happy to explain the milling process to you and answer any questions.

Milling is done in two sessions: from 11am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 3pm. Access to the Mill is free, although we welcome donations towards the Mill's ongoing upkeep and maintenance. Donations boxes are sited by the milling...
