Exmouth Town Concert Band present a Patriotic Proms Concert, on Wednesday 15th October at 7.30pm at Holy Trinity Church, Exmouth.
The concert will be raising money for Exmouth & Lympstone Hospiscare, in memory of Ms Irene Holland who recently left the band a generous legacy. Director of Music Steve Grant will also select a piece of music in Ms Holland’s memory and this will be played on the night.
This promises to be a fantastic proms style evening, with the audience being treated to a selection of marches, war time favourites and rousing patriotic numbers.
The Apple & Cider Fair at Eggesford Gardens is a real celebration of the great English apple and all its many uses.

The third Sidmouth Science Festival will take place from 12th to 19th October 2014 and the overall theme continues to be "Science in our lives".

Bride: The Wedding Show returns to Westpoint Arena, Exeter for its 5th year this autumn.
The show will bring together over 150 regional wedding suppliers who will be on hand to help brides-to-be plan their perfect day as well as a host of live entertainment, 3 stunning choreographed catwalk shows daily, hair and beauty demonstrations, free copies of South West Bride magazine and much more.

Exmouth Carnival will be holding their annual Carnival Fun Day in The Strand between 9am and 5pm.
There will be over 60 stalls selling handmade crafts and jewellery, toys, cup cakes, clothing, ceramics, food, drinks and lots, lots more.
In addition to this we will have face painting, a bouncy castle, a children’s entertainer, balloon modeller and birds of prey. We will also be crowning this year’s carnival royalty.
