Police are seeking the identity of a couple suspected to have stolen a number of glasses frames from the Vision Express store on Courtenay Street, Newton Abbot on Saturday 22 November.
The male and female offenders entered the store at around 1pm, browsed products before concealing in their coat pockets and sleeves eight Versace and Tom Ford glasses frames worth approximately £1,450 in total before leaving the store.
Police have released images and CCTV fooage in hope that the public will recognise the suspects.

Exeter City attacking duo Matt Jay and Ollie Watkins have joined Weston-super-Mare on a one-month loan deal. The pair both turned professional in the summer after winning the Youth Alliance South West title with the Grecians’ under-18 team, and made their first-team debuts while still Academy players last season. As community support builds for Devon’s wild beavers, an oil painting of a Devon beaver has raised £700 for Devon Wildlife Trust’s work to keep the animals on the River Otter. The canvas, by renowned east Devon wildlife artist Emma Bowring, was donated to the charity’s Devon’s Wild Beavers fundraising appeal. Pupils at a Devon primary school have created their own ‘pop-up’ World War One museum which will be open to the community all next week.
The museum will feature period artefacts such as gas masks and shell casings which have been discovered in relatives’ attics as well as websites and projects featuring the children’s own research into family members who were involved in the war.
