Proposed health cuts concern charity

As new figures from the Office of National Statistics (ONS) show the number of drug-related deaths in England and Wales has increased for the second year in a row, drug and alcohol treatment charity Addaction has called for the government to rethink proposed cuts to local authority health spending.

Financial support is available through the NHS for those who need full-time care, says campaigner Roger Burgess.

NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) is funded solely by the NHS for people who have a primary health need.

Nine Below Zero’s founding members, Dennis Greaves and Mark Feltham are going back to their roots to perform a series of intimate, acoustic concerts as a duo. These will be the first ‘old style’ blues shows that the pair will perform in the 35 years they have been working together and will be coming to Victory Hall, Whimple on the 24th October 2015.

The Dissenters Graveyard in Exeter will be open to visitors next weekend
