Landmarks across the UK are set to light up red to raise awareness of leukaemia this September. Exeter Guildhall will be turning red on the 4th of September to mark World Leukaemia Day and to raise awareness of leukaemia as part of the charity’s Spot Leukaemia campaign.

Poundland to open second shop in Exeter

Poundland, Europe’s biggest single price discount retailer, is opening a second store in Exeter on Thursday (27 June 2013), creating 18 new jobs.

The new store repalces the former Sports Direct unit in the Guildhall Shopping Centre.

For the past two years SOS Global has been supported by the Home Office Communities Against Guns, Gangs and Knives Fund (CAGGK) culminating in a regional conference at the Guildhall, Exeter on 26 April 2013.

The Board of Deputies of British Jews is delighted to be presenting the Jewish Way of Life Exhibition (JWOLE) at Exeter City Guildhall, as part of the Civic celebration of the 250 year history of Jews in the city.

The exhibit launches on Monday July 22 and opens Tuesday 23 July until Friday 26 July. The JWOLE exhibition will be open to everyone including local schools and residents, and everyone would be made to feel most welcome and are all invited to visit.
