‘The Seafarer’ by Andrew Millington will be performed by The Exeter Philharmonic Choir in a special, sea-themed concert. Exeter School is looking forward to performing three contrasting pieces for the annual Choral Society concert held at Exeter Cathedral on Thursday 17 March.

The first bricks in Exeter Cathedral’s Big LEGO® Build will be laid next week at a special ceremony to launch the project.
The Bishop of Exeter Robert Atwell will be joined by the winners of a Devon-wide schools’ competition to get the epic LEGO build underway, just in time for half term.
The final model, made up of 300,000 LEGO bricks, will be an impressive 3.6m long, 2m wide and 1m high.

The magnificent nave of Exeter Cathedral, which houses the longest continuous vaulted ceiling in Europe, is to return to its medieval roots for the hosting of a Spring Fair. The event is sponsored by Bonhams and takes place on Thursday 10th March 2016. Unlike its medieval ancestor, the modern day Spring Fair will be a quieter affair (no trading in live animals!) and will feature an array of stalls selling crafts and artisan gifts, and visitors will also be able to take time out to enjoy a traditional Devon Cream Tea provided by the Cathedral Café.
