Last Saturday (13 July) saw over 600 competitors converge on Exeter Quay for the annual City of Exeter rowing regatta. With over 150 events, the regatta ran from 10:30am to 6:30pm and was the biggest event for ten years. The day saw large crowds enjoying the Mediterranean weather and cheering on the competitors.

The first day of the Exeter Respect Festival 2013 has been hailed as a resounding success as a record number of people - approximately 13,500 in total so far according to Cllr Ian Martin, one of the Festival organising committee - flooded through the gates of Belmont Park for Exeter's celebration of diversity.
