The famous Parfumier of the town of Sniffniff creates the best scent in the land. One day the Emperor, hearing of his smelly skills, demands that he create a new perfume, a perfume never smelt before, a perfume fit for a king, or else there will be trouble.

Exeter Phoenix announces hundreds of new events

Exeter’s busiest arts venue has just announced hundreds of new music, art, performance and film events, which will take place between January and March next year.

Highlights this season include several annual festivals including: Laugh Out Loud, a comedy festival taking place at venues throughout the city showcasing hilarious stand up from familiar faces; Animated Exeter in which you can experience animation in all its forms via workshops, talks and screenings; and Vibraphonic , now in its ninth year, celebrating urban music of black origin.

First ever music video entirely using Instagram pictures

The music video of “Invasión” by a Mexican band The Plastics Revolution is the first ever music video filmed entirely using Instagram pictures.

"This is the very first music video done entirely on Instagram without any third party alterations. Every single frame of this music video is an actual picture that we ran through Instagram. We never shot any video. We only shot still photography," the band says.

Honiton Church to host charity Violin Recital

With spring finally pushing through the last remnants of winter, St Paul’s Church in Honiton is set to play host to a Spring Violin Recital on Wednesday 19th March at 7.30pm.

The event, sponsored by Gilbert Stephens Solicitors, will feature Devon violinist Marie Langrishe. Marie is 19 and lives near Honiton.
