Exeter Leukaemia Fund is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Richard Lee as a Trustee of the charity.
Richard who lives in Exeter has been a wonderful friend and supporter of ELF for over 25 years. Dr Lee, until his retirement in 2010 was a Consultant Haematologist at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital for over 25 years. In the latter part of his career, Richard also ran clinics at North Devon District Hospital.

When Crediton volunteer, Lynne Cooper knitted her first duck for Exeter Leukaemia Fund back in March 2012, she had no idea that her creation would go on to be a global adventurer and that she would knit 400 more! Exeter Leukaemia Fund is delighted to announce that the charity has agreed to significantly support the North Devon District Hospital Chemotherapy Appeal. The charity has pledged £50,000 towards the appeal and will be used specifically to fund one of the four dedicated haematology consulting rooms. In addition, the charity is working in partnership with the hospital with a view to fund specialist haematology equipment for the new building.
